We have been wine-growers in “Les Dépôts” since the beggining of the 19th century, a few kilometers from Beaujeu the historical capital of Beaujolais. Over the years our family business has drown in size and reputation. Nowadays with the help of a young and dynamic staff, Louis and Jean TÊTE approach new dimension both on the home and foreign market. OAK CASKSFormely, “Les Dépôts” used to be an important staging post for the carriage of wines to Paris. It’s wonderful vaulted cellars are still intact, where after careful selection our wines are matured in oak casks. SELECTIONS & BOTTLINGThe top quality of our wines is maintained thanks to modern equipment and methods (analysis laboratory, stainless stell storage vats); a very modern bottling line and large storage areas unable us to meet all the requirements of our customers. WELCOME IN OUR CELLARSRespectful of the traditional hospitality of the Beaujolais region, Louis and Jean TÊTE entertain their friends in the warm atmosphere of their wine-tasting cellar, where they show them their love for the wine they know so well, Beaujolais. THE ESTATESWe own vineyards in the most famous places in Beaujolais: in Régnié, we produce the Régnié, 10th Beaujolais Cru, in Latignié “Chateau des Alouettes”, in Quincié “Domaine des Jumelles” our Beaujolais-Villages and in Romanèche-Thorins we make Moulin-à-Vent. Our wines are estate bottled.
